Mark Chandler has run the delightful cafe/teashop business with his wife for over three years and knows a lot of his customers personally. His wife, Alison is responsible for the array of delicious homemade cakes that you will find displayed in the shop.

Mark has lived in Lymington for over twenty five years and has worked in the catering industry for all that time. He knows many of his customers personally and Lounges has become known as the social hub of Lymington.

It's a great place for visitors to drop in and find out what is happening in and around Lymington. Many of the locals belong to Lounge's loyalty club, where you buy nine drinks and get the tenth one free.

Many love to try the delicious and warming homemade soup - perfect for those cold winter days !

Many visitors to Lymington make Lounges, which is situated opposite the Stanwell House Hotel, a stopping off point for the obligatory cream tea with home made scones. Children (and some adults !) visiting love to indulge in 'flurries' and gaze longingly at the amazing glass jars containing hundreds and thousands and other tempting toppings for their ice creams.
